Throw this healthy snack in a bag and take with you on the road. This treat provides plenty of healthy fat and protein.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of shelled nuts
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 cup of dried organic fruit
- Sea salt to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350-450 degrees F (depending on your oven strength).
- Spread the nuts out on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with oil and toss to evenly coat.
- Bake nuts for 10 minutes then toss with fruit and salt and serve.
DO not set you oven at 450 unless you like your nuts burned. Before the 10 min. was up I could smell them burning. I know all oven are different and in my mind I questioned 450.. I will monitor the reciepes a little more closely. I almost ruined $34.00 worth of nuts….
